AP English students are beginning to review all we have learned this year and applying it to intensive test prep - the test will be here before you know it!  Students will also begin the transition to AP Literature by reading the most cited book on that test - Ralph Ellison's The Invisible Man. English 3 students are reading The Great Gatsby.  English 3 students are also working on their research papers about the American dream through the decades.  Students and Parents feel free to try out the new common core test format by clicking on the top link on the right - you do not need to fill anything in or change any settings.  All juniors will be taking the new state common core tests in April instead of the old CST test.  AP students are currently reading The Great Gatsby.  Ask  for help when you need it. Students and Parents please use Aeries for up to date grade information.  My goal as a teacher is to challenge my students to become life long learners, critical thinkers, and great writers and readers.  Let's have a great year together!  On this page you will find important information about assignments and projects, useful handouts on a variety of topics, and links to educational websites that will enrich your learning. I have high expectations and you will work hard but I will be here every step of the way to ensure your success.
