Welcome to the Merced Union High School District Libraries. MUHSD features 6 student-accessible libraries on five comprehensive sites and one alternative education site. The district also houses a staff AV library stocked with educational videos. Each of the five comprehensive school sites is staffed by a full-time, certificated Teacher Librarian and at least one full-time Library Media Technician. The AV library and the ECEC library are staffed by full-time Library Media Technicians. The district libraries feature diverse print collections and a wide range of technology resources for students and staff. The libraries also house and manage the textbook collections for the district. Our libraries operate under a board-approved library plan that guides collection and resource development as well as collaborative teaching and learning. All of our libraries operate on an open schedule and strive to maximize student and staff access to district resources. | |||||
All MUHSD libraries are linked via Follett's Destiny, a web-based catalog program. Library collections can be searched individually or all at the same time. Students and staff can request books from other schools in the district by logging in to their home school's catalog. See your school's library staff for instructions. | |||||
