My classes will be utilizing computers and technology on near-daily basis.
Below are some resources for students in Ms. Cool's Chemistry and AP Chemistry classes.
Students are expected to have the following things:
1. An Internet Acceptable Use Policy on file with the school (parent signature required, usually done your freshman year)
2. A Classroom Laptop Contract (parent signature required)
3. A school based Google email account giving access to Google Docs (school sets up)
Additionally, AP Chemistry students are expected to have a WebAssign account (I set up)
Username: "first initial last name student number@muhsd.org" example: scool123456@muhsd.org (this is your permanent ID number)
How to set up an Edmodo Account Go to Edmodo. Set up a student account. Your username does not matter, this is not what your classmates will see. You must use your real name for the account. I will have to give you the class code.
Quia is a website that is used for quizzes and games. We will be taking most of our quizzes on Quia this year.
To access Quia, go to the chemistry homepage and follow the link to Unit 1 (or whatever unit you are working on).
Your log in is as follows:
User name: firstlast118
Password: changeme
Your log in name is your first name and last name squished together.
There are a few exceptions:
If you cannot log in, or if you forgot your password, please see me.
Once you log in, please go to My Account, on the right hand side of the screen. Once there, you can change your password and add an email address.

All of your WebAssign login information is in lowercase letters
Loginname: firstinitial.lastname (ex: s.cool)

Password: already given to you
