The Atwater High School staff is hard at work preparing for the next outstanding year! Our staff looks forward to providing students with an enriching high school experience filled with challenges and opportunities.
From day one, AHS will challenge students to begin to prepare for life after high school. Each student at AHS has a six year plan in which they research and work toward their stated goals. Providing students with a plan that adds relevance to the high school experience is an essential component to a well rounded education. Success is defined in many ways in our society, and it is imperative that students identify what success means to them. This may include preparing for military service, entrance into the work force, or entry to a four year university. It is our commitment at AHS to challenge our students with rigorous and relevant coursework.
Our motto at AHS is “Academic and Athletics with Pride and Perfection”. We strongly encourage our students to become involved in athletics, clubs, and community service organizations. Students that take advantage of their opportunities to work with dedicated coaches and advisors achieve at a much higher rate.
