Psychomotor:

 

1.  Students will determine their dominant eye.

2.  Students will demonstrate string and unstring a bow.

3.  Students will demonstrate the fifteen steps of shooting a bow.

4.  Students will demonstrate how to inspect equipment for safety.

5.  Students will demonstrate and draw a diagram of a person
     showing the correct anchor point.

6.  Students will shoot and score arrows.

7.  Students will observe and evaluate a classmates fifteen steps to

     archery success.

8.  Students will shoot, score and analyze arrow patterns.

9.  Students will calculate their percent of hits.

 

Cognitive:

 

1.  Students will know the safety strategies of Archery.

2.  Students will know the fifteen steps of shooting a bow.

3.  Students will know when and why the distance to the target  

     will be increased.

4.  Students will know the nomenclature of the bow and arrow.

5.  Students will know how to inspect the equipment for safety.

6.  Students will know the correct anchor point.

7.  Students will know how to score arrows.

8.  Students will know how to peer assess a classmates fifteen

     steps to archery success.

9.  Students will understand and analyze arrow patterns.

 

Affective:

 

Students will describe, explain and demonstrate the importance of social interaction skills (respect, self-advocacy, cooperation, communication, identifying and being open to different perspectives and points of view, empathy, and friendship).
