Wolves Planning Ahead

 The 6 Year Plan is the way in which Livingston High School students plan for at least two years after high school.  Prior to registering for classes during your 9th grade year, students will take several surveys and then declare a pathway.  Students will use that as the basis for creating a plan for the remainder of their high school years and at least two years after graduation.
 
Students will take several surveys to answer the following questions:
  • Who am I?
  • What do I want to be?
  • How do I get there?
9th Grade Year
  • Students will take the Whodoyouwant2be survey
  • Students will select a pathway, capstone class and create a high school course plan
  • Students will present their plan to their counselor and the advisor of the pathway they have selected
10th Grade Year
  • Students will take the Career Zone survey to validate their selection and explore their pathway
  • Students will meet with their counselor during the first semester to review and update their plan
11th Grade Year
  • Students will take the ASVAB survey
  • Students will meet with their counselor during the first semester to review and update their plan
12th Grade Year
  • Students will be enrolled in their capstone course
  • Students will participate in the Wise Up financial literacy workshop presented by the Credit Union
  • Students will take part in the Senior Exit Interviews which are part of their English 4 and Government class grades
