Science is built up of facts, as a house is built of stones; but an accumulation of facts is no more a science than a heap of stones is a house.  ~Henri PoincarĂ©, Science and Hypothesis, 1905

Please utilize this page to improve your biology grade.  Use the links on the right side of the page to access your specific needs.  Below is a description of what is included in each.

If you click on the Classroom Rules and Grading Policy, you will find a description of the citizenship policy that I expect students to follow in classroom.  I utilize a different grading scale from other teachers, so please take note of this difference on the Classroom Rules.

If you click on the Homework and Assignments link, it will direct you to my webpage that lists all of the past assignments and the upcoming assignments that are due.  All of the assignments are saved as pdfs so that if you have lost your copy you can print another and still complete your assignments.

The link for the Classroom Calendar will direct you to my webpage that contains a schedule of upcoming lessons and previosly taught lessons.  From this page you can access all of the powerpoints that are presented in class to help review for tests.  The homework assignments are also attached to the calendar.  Upcoming tests and vocabulary quizzes are also embedded into the calendar.  Calendar items are color coded as follows: Powerpoints/Lessons, Vocabulary, Homework(Yellow), Labs, and Tests.

The Prentice Hall Biology Book is a link to the online version of the book used in the classroom.  If you have left your book at a different location when homework is due the following day, you can utilize the online book to complete the assignments.
