Included here are resources which will be of help to anyone struggling with writing learning and/or evaluation objectives.
To help with writing learning objectives, click on Objective Writing Introduction--an introduction addressesing both what a learning objective is and is not or click on Objective Introduction for a PowerPoint that provides a step-by-step approach to objective writing. Finally, click on Objective Writing Chart--a chart of vivid verbs and model objectives aligned to Bloom’s Taxonomy. This resource also includes some common pitfalls to avoid when framing objectives.
For help with writing evaluation objectives, click on Chart of Model Evaluation Objectives. The chart includes model objectives as well as a method of assessment for each model. The objectives are organized according to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession and focus on various curricular areas. |
