A-G Classes
A through G Classes are the classes that are required for entrance to the University of California and California State University system. You must have all of these classes to meet the minimum admissions requirements for all U.C. and C.S.U. campuses. Some private and out of state schools will require additional courses. Minimum GPA required: for U.C. it is 3.0 and for C.S.U. it is 2.0. You must have a grade of 'C' or higher in each of these required courses. In addition to these requirements, all U.C. applicants must take both the SAT I or the ACT and the SAT II. All C.S.U. applicants must take the SAT I or the ACT.
