Welcome to the Library Media Center (GAP)
 at East Campus Educational Center

East Campus Educational Center Library (GAP) will strive to be an integral  part of the instructional program, dedicated to providing our school  with the best possible resources and services. It is the goal of the library to be the very center and heart of the school: a dynamic learning environment that motivates, educates, and encourages lifelong learners in a global environment.  Our mission is to promote lifelong learning and the use of information, ideas, and technology in a creative, critical, and ethical way.

Goals

  • To provide access to information, ideas, and technology.
  • To provide instruction supporting and encouraging information literacy.
  • To design appropriate learning strategies through collaboration with other educators.

Students must have their student ID card to check out books. Students are allowed to check out up to three library books.  Students who have any overdue items may not check out additional items until they either turn in their overdue books or bring those books in to the circulation desk to be renewed. Students will not be allowed to participate in any activities until all obligations are cleared.  Obligations will remain on student’s record until this matter is cleared.  All materials should either be returned promptly or renewed by bringing in the books.
